On June 15, 2003, STOUT gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
Rory created this band section with the following statement:
To Whom it May Concern,
STOUT not only allows taping and distribution of said tapes, but encourages and desires it. We would be happy to have our shows hosted on etree.org or any other hosting sites. My name is Rory Gardner I am the bass player for STOUT.
Rory also emailed after contact with fan Jay Morris:
My name is Rory Gardner and I play bass for STOUT. I have written numerous
emails stating that Jay can pretty much do whatever he wants w/ the tapes up
to and including defacation on said tapes. Our taping policy is that we
encourage tapers and allow free trading of any shows we play, umless
otherwise stated.
